review: Central City Brewing Red Racer Pale Ale

Today's beer adventure: Central City Brewing Red Racer Pale Ale (Surrey, BC). 355ml can. 5.0% ABV. Served in pint glass. Purchased at Willow Park Wine and Spirits. ~$3.50ish

The pour is medium amber with a small amount of bubbly head that settles out quickly to some nice lacing on the glass. Nose is of sweet malt, citrusy hops - grapefruit and lemon.

The flavour is just what the nose promised, grapefruit and lemon hoppiness backed up by sweet malt. Short, crisp, tart finish.

Rating is 7/10 dogs. Easy drinking pale ale. Could drink buckets on a hot day on a deck. Tasty, solid brew.
