review: Bushwakker Baron Bock

From the beerchives:Today's beer adventure: Bushwakker Baron Bock (Regina, SK). 2L Bottle. 6.0% ABV. Served in pint glass. Purchased at The Bushwakker offsale.

The pour is dark amber topped by one finger of solid tan head. Carbonation is lively. Great lacing on glass. Nose is sweet, toasted malt..and not much else..

Flavour is sweet bready malt, full bodied, apples, fruity hops(?), nutty. Slightly smoky. Pleasing bitter, citrusy finish.

Rating is 6.5/10 dogs. Solid offering from the mighty Bushwakker. Good session beer. It won't change the world, but it is solid.
