Today's beer adventure: Hacker-Pschorr Weisse (GERMANY). 500ml Bottle. 5.5% ABV. Served in Great Western pint glass. Purchased at Willow Park Wine and Spirits in Regina. $4.50/bottle.
The pour hazy, dark amber with one finger of fine white head. Nose is of bananas, cloves, coriander, yeasty bread.
Mouthfeel is quite full and smooth. Flavour is the same as the nose - spices, bananas, citrus and sweet malt. Finish is relatively short and pleasingly bitter.
Rating is 7.25/10 dogs. Nice, solid hefeweizen. Quite tasty. Tastes like I should have another sometime soon. :)
