review: Flying Dog In Heat Wheat Hefeweizen

Today's beer adventure: Flying Dog In Heat Wheat Hefeweizen (Maryland, USA). 355ml Bottle. 4.7% ABV. Served in pint glass. Purchased in Minot, ND by my good buddy Derek Barnes! No idea about price! Who cares!?!?

The pour a light amber haze topped with a thin white head. Good carbonation. Nose is sweet malt, floral notes, citrus, coriander. Sourdough bread. Mouthfeel is light and lively. I'm liking this.

Flavour is typical light witbier. Light floral with citrus and spice. Shortish, slightly bitter finish.

Rating is 6.5/10 dogs. This is a tasty, light hefe that would be excellent in bunches on a hot day.
