review: La Vache Folle Extra Special Bitter

Today's Beer Adventure: La Vache Folle ESB  500ml Bottle, 6.0% ABV. Purchased at Willow Park Wine and Spirits in Regina. ~$5.75...can't remember. Served in my stolen BP pint glass.

The pour is golden amber with a small, quickly dissipating head. Decent lacing. The nose is flowery/herbal...like an IPA? Some sweetness on the nose as well. Citrus..orange?

The hops jump right at you at the first sip. Grapefruit notes. Grass. Bread. Bitterness is definitely there but is balanced off nicely by the sweet malt. Medium body.

Rating: 7.5 dogs. Delicious beer.
